Boeing Aerospace Operations is seeking a Lead P-8 Maintenance Technician to support the P-8A Site Activation Support Team at NAS Whidbey Island, WA. This role is 100% onsite at the designated location.

The successful candidate will lead maintenance activities, oversee troubleshooting of complex systems, and mentor teammates while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. This position involves working on a high-profile defense program with strict security requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years' experience with General Aircraft Mechanic techniques and processes.
• Experience with team building and leading cross-functional teams.
• Willing to deploy/travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Aufgaben

• Leads assembly, disassembly and modification of systems, overseeing changes to aerospace vehicle components.
• Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
• Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Directs troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Oversees validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
• Leads and supervises others to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle.
• Provides training and mentors others.
• Works under minimal direction.
