Job summary

The Learning Depot in Trenton, NJ is seeking a P-3 Certified Preschool Teacher to build a nurturing, play-based classroom for ages 3 to 5, using Creative Curriculum to design daily lessons and support early literacy.

Ideal candidates bring Creative Curriculum experience, a P-3 Certification or Eligibility, and at least one year of lead teaching, with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Collaboration with families and ongoing professional growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have experience using Creative Curriculum in an early childhood classroom.
• P-3 Certification or Certificate of Eligibility (Preschool through 3rd Grade) required/eligible.
• At least 1 year of lead teaching experience in early childhood.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead daily lessons using Creative Curriculum to foster literacy and foundational skills.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
• Track and assess progress through observations aligned with state standards.
• Partner with families to support each child’s growth at school and home.
