Job summary

The Learning Depot in Trenton, NJ is hiring a P-3 Certified Preschool Teacher to design and lead daily lessons using Creative Curriculum for ages 3 to 5. This role emphasizes a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom, developmentally appropriate play, and close collaboration with families.

A strong candidate will have at least one year of lead teaching and the NJ P-3 certification. The position offers growth opportunities and alignment with state standards; salary is based on the Trenton DOE

Qualifications

• Experience using the Creative Curriculum in an early childhood classroom.
• P-3 Certification or Certificate of Eligibility (Preschool through 3rd Grade)
• At least 1 year of lead teaching experience in an early childhood setting
• BA in Early Childhood Education or related field (Preschool-3rd Grade Certification)
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
• Communication skills with both children and adults
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

What You Bring:

• Candidates must have experience using the Creative Curriculum in an early childhood classroom setting.

• AP-3 Certification or Certificate of Eligibility (Preschool through 3rd Grade)

• At least 1 year of lead teaching experience in an early childhood setting

• A BA in Early Childhood Education or related field (specifically a Preschool-3rd Grade Certification)

• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills

• A deep love for working with preschoolers and helping them shine

• Communication skills that are as warm as they are effective — with both children and adults

• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus!
