Job summary

Clyde's Restaurant Group in Reston, VA is opening Ebbitt House and seeking an Oyster Shucker to join the team. You will shuck oysters, stock the bar, and support the chef to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Hardworking, attentive, hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service.
• Experience as a cook and/or oyster shucking desired, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
• Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Shuck fresh oysters, preparatory to fresh packing.
• Ensure oyster bar is properly stocked and set up.
• Follow established recipes and plating requirements as set by Clyde's standards.
• Provide fast, accurate shucking of oysters.
• Provide assistance to Chef and team members with food preparation.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and safely used.
• Follow Clyde's high standards for food safety and quality.
