Job summary

Sun State Eye Care in Phoenix is seeking a licensed Optometrist to join our team. You will meet with new and existing patients, review assessments, discuss concerns, and perform a comprehensive eye exam to detect abnormalities and fit lenses.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Optometry, a valid state license, and strong communication. You will work well within a supportive team and stay current with the latest optometry advances to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited school.
A valid state license to practice optometry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independently, as well as within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Meet with new and existing patients to determine their concerns and needs.
Conduct a comprehensive eye exam to address all issues and find any defects or abnormalities.
Diagnose minor and major issues, including glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts.
Work closely with the rest of the office team, as well as outside medical providers, to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
