Job summary

Northland is seeking a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day construction project execution from preconstruction through close-out, primarily focusing on Newton, MA. The role requires coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance; supervising Assistant Project Managers as needed.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and at least 5 years of residential construction

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project coordination and execution from preconstruction through close-out.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, inspectors, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-schedule, on-budget work.
• Maintain communication with owner, design team, and construction manager to ensure alignment.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, sequencing, and overall coordination.
• Monitor compliance with plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Attend owner meetings and provide regular written project updates.
