Job summary

Schebler Company in Bettendorf, IA is seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer with Autodesk Inventor experience to join our Chimney Systems Division. You will work with engineering, production, and project teams to design systems used in complex industrial and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years CAD design experience preferred; recent grads encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD is expected.
• Experience with SolidWorks or Creo may be considered.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and drawings from customer specifications.
• Develop submittal drawings and coordination models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Produce manufacturing-ready drawings for fabrication and production teams.
• Review designs for accuracy, quality, and manufacturability.
• Work with engineers, project managers, and customers to refine designs.
• Support projects used in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, and data center infrastructure.
