Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to join the owner-side quality team on capital projects in Texas. You will oversee surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities, review quality documentation, and report status to the project quality lead, ensuring compliance with the project quality plan and specifications.

You will split time between the field and the documents, witnessing hold points and audit findings, driving nonconformance closure, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
