Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on owner-side capital projects. You support the project quality program by surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, reviewing quality records, and reporting status to the project quality lead.

Your week alternates between field work and documentation, witnessing hold points, tracking audit findings, and ensuring closed nonconformances. This role provides an on-ramps to Project Quality Manager II with experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
