Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. You will focus on surveillance of contractor and supplier quality, review QC plans and records, and report findings to the project quality lead.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in QC/QA on construction or industrial projects, working knowledge of ISO 9001, and strong written reporting skills. This role involves field presence, audits, and coordinating with project leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures and inspection records and identifying gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organization under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
