Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I on the owner side of capital projects to oversee the project quality program. You will surveil contractor and supplier activities, review QC plans, and track audit findings, delivering clear status to the project quality lead.

In this role, expect field and documentation work, reviewing records, and preparing weekly quality inputs. Prior ISO 9001 awareness and relevant certifications help you excel in a cross-functional team

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• Organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
