Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner's or EPC contractor's side of a capital project. You will support the project quality program by surveilling contractor and supplier quality, reviewing documentation, tracking audit findings, and reporting to the project quality lead.

Your week alternates between the field and the documents, witnessing hold points, reviewing inspection records, and closing open audit findings with evidence such as photos and test

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Able to read specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identify gaps.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
