Job summary

Hut 8 in Miami, FL seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to manage site design reviews, permitting support, and utility coordination for data center projects. You will act as the owner's civil eyes across a fast-moving portfolio, ensuring constructability and timely approvals.

The role requires 5+ years in civil site design or owner's review, a BS in Civil Engineering, and a preference for a PE license. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil site design or owner's-side civil review for industrial, mission-critical, or large commercial developments.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility infrastructure.
• Experience supporting entitlement and site permitting with AHJs and DOTs.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D deliverables and geotechnical reports.

Responsibilities

• Site Design Review across Hut 8 projects for constructability and code compliance.
• Support permitting strategy with site development permits and approvals.
• Coordinate water, sewer, gas, and telecom infrastructure design with utilities.
• Respond to civil RFIs, review submittals, and assist earthwork QA/QC.
• Support early works and diligence packages to accelerate construction mobilization.
• Maintain civil design standards across the portfolio.
