Job summary

Hut 8 is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee grading, drainage, utilities, and site design review for data center projects. You will be the owner's civil eyes across a portfolio of sites, catching design issues early and keeping permits on schedule.

Based at the Miami headquarters with travel to project sites, this role requires 5+ years in civil site design, a Civil Engineering degree, and strong communication with consultants and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 5+ years of civil site design or owner's‑side civil review experience.
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate with consultants, agencies, and field teams.
• Experience supporting entitlement and site permitting with AHJs, environmental agencies, and DOTs.

Responsibilities

• Review civil packages across projects for constructability and code compliance.
• Support permitting strategy and submittals with pre-construction and consultants.
• Coordinate water, sewer, gas, and telecom infrastructure design with utilities and HV team.
• Respond to civil RFIs, review submittals and shop drawings, and support QA/QC decisions.
