Job summary

Trueline Talent's client, a growing Southern California hospitality owner and developer, seeks a Construction Project Manager to join its team in Irvine, CA. This role moves a commercial construction professional into an owner's representative position, owning decisions on hotel capital projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will review drawings, manage budgets, coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors, and drive projects with minimal disruption to hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in commercial construction project management or related roles.
• Experience with owners representation, developers, or GC/CM environments.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Represent ownership throughout preconstruction, construction and closeout.
• Support hotel renovations and capital projects.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes, and contracts.
• Identify risks, gaps, and coordination issues.
• Develop RFPs, scopes of work, and procurement documents.
• Evaluate bids and manage contractor selections and negotiations.
• Monitor progress, quality, schedule, and compliance.
• Maintain project budgets,Forecasts and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects deliver with minimal disruption to operations.
