Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Construction Management Professional to support industrial construction activities in the Cleveland, Ohio area. You will act as the owner’s representative, overseeing contractors, schedules, documentation, and day-to-day client interactions, ensuring quality and compliance with contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6 years of relevant construction management experience preferred.
• Experience overseeing industrial or commercial construction projects as an owner's representative.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as duties require.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee industrial and/or commercial construction projects.
• Serve as the owner’s representative during construction and coordinate stakeholders.
• Oversee MEP installation activities and ensure alignment with plans.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, and CPM progress; review submittals and shop drawings.
• Document deficiencies, delays, costs, and risks; support change orders and claims.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and participate in site meetings.
