Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY seeks an Owner's Representative Civil Inspector to oversee civil and structural construction for a major project. You will monitor contractor performance, verify work against IFC drawings, and ensure compliance with codes, drawings, and quality standards.

Your focus includes documenting progress, coordinating with EPC and QA/QC teams, and promoting a strong safety culture on site. This is a demanding on-site role requiring extensive civil inspection expertise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of civil inspection on large industrial projects.
• 3–5 years on power, energy, petrochemical or LNG projects preferred.
• Owner's Representative experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent the owner during all civil construction activities.
• Monitor contractor performance for compliance with specs, drawings, schedules and quality.
• Verify activities per IFC drawings and contract requirements.
• Observe daily work and identify deviations from requirements.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Inspect site prep, excavation, foundations, and concrete placement.
• Document field activities with reports and photos.
• Coordinate with EPC, QA/QC, safety and environmental teams.
• Promote safety culture and resolve field issues.
