Job summary

Pacifico Energy seeks a Project Engineering Manager to lead the owner's engineering team, govern contractor designs, and evaluate change requests for a major Cedar Creek power project. You will own the design review process and mitigate technical risks, drawing on 15+ years in power plant engineering and EPC exposure.

Bachelor's degree in engineering required. The role requires coordinating with the Project Director, interfacing with contractors and OEMs, and delivering technically sound

Qualifications

• 15+ years in power plant engineering, including team leadership on large projects.
• 5+ years representing an owner or client over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the owner's discipline engineering team and interface function.
• Govern the contractor's design development against the technical specification.
• Lead your team's technical evaluation of change request content.
• Provide the final change request recommendation to the Project Director.
• Own the owner's design review and comment process.
• Drive resolution of technical disputes with the contractor and the OEM.
• Own technical risk identification and mitigation.
