Job summary
Pacifico Energy LLC is seeking an I&C Construction Manager for the Cedar Creek project to lead instrument and control installation across a 1,100 MW gas turbine facility. You will represent the owner in EPC contractor activities under a lump-sum contract, focusing on control system interfaces and safety-critical installations.
The role requires extensive field experience with DCS, instrumentation, and hazardous-area installation, plus a engineering degree.
Qualifications
- 12+ years in I&C construction on power or process plants, at least 5 supervising.
- 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
- Hands-on experience with distributed control systems and turbine control interfaces.
- Working knowledge of ISA standards and hazardous area installation.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent field experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee field instrument installation, mounting and impulse lines.
- Monitor control system hardware installation and cabinet work.
- Track instrument cable installation, terminations and loop integrity.
- Oversee fire and gas detection system installation.
- Review construction work packages and flag scope or constraint gaps early.
- Attend system walkdowns and identify punch list items.
- Monitor preservation and storage of instruments and control hardware.
