Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager for Power Generation to lead large-scale, complex energy projects as an Owner’s Engineer. You will provide design review, development engineering support, feasibility studies, energy production estimates, cost estimates, construction support and commissioning oversight.

The role includes leading project teams, coordinating with clients and EPC contractors, and mentoring other managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are required for managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver large scale, complex power generation projects.
• Provide design review, engineering support, feasibility and cost estimates, and testing/commissioning support.
• Lead Owner’s Engineer activities through project lifecycle including construction and startup.
• Support business development with proposals, RFPs, and bid evaluations.
• Oversee EPC contractors and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and Engineering Managers to raise execution standards.
