Job summary

MAAS Companies is seeking an Owner's Authorized Representative to manage complex California school projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and contractor activities, coordinating with districts, design teams, and public agencies to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in public/educational construction, a relevant degree (or CCM substitute), and a track record of leading multi-million dollar projects.

Qualifications

• 10 years of full-time construction or project management experience with 3 years coordinating complex projects over $10M, degree in architecture/engineering/construction management or CCM substitute.
• Alternatively 15 years with 8 years coordinating complex projects over $10M; degree and CCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own all phases of assigned projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Review preconstruction documents and provide comments to the designer.
• Provide status reports to upper management and manage budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with public agencies on off-site work and with staff.
• Review subcontractor RFCs, substitutions, and change orders for fair pricing.
• Administer contracts with architects and oversee payment reviews.
