Job summary

Parametrix seeks an experienced Owner’s Advisor to join our Advisory Services team. You will work with public and private sector clients across water, transit, environmental services, and construction management to guide projects from concept to warranty.

This role emphasizes owner advocacy, alternative delivery expertise, and rigorous cost/schedule oversight, with a West Coast preference; remote options are available for the right experience. Parametrix offers ESOP and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of consulting experience in owner’s advisory or management consulting in infrastructure.
• Strong background in procurement, contract development, cost estimating, scheduling, risk assessment, and lifecycle cost evaluation.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods and procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Owner: act as trusted advisor from concept through design, permitting, procurement, construction, closeout, and warranty.
• Provide hands-on leadership to guide delivery across all project phases.
• Support Alternative Delivery: CM/GC, CMAR, GC/CM, PDB, or DB heavy civil projects.
• Lead cost and budget oversight: develop, review, and validate estimates.
• Monitor schedules: identify risks or variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage risk & lifecycle cost evaluations: risk assessments and decision support.
• Evaluate scope, schedule & budget: negotiate with stakeholders to protect owner interests.
• Advise on procurement & delivery strategies: drive project success.
• Build client partnerships: maintain strong relationships throughout the project.
