Job summary

Western Specialty Contractors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects, coordinate all segments, and ensure budget and schedule adherence. You will assist in contract and change order processes, collaborate with the project team, and maintain strong client relationships on-site.

With 10+ years in masonry/concrete restoration, you will lead safety planning, permits, and cost controls while guiding the project from initiation to close-out.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in masonry/concrete restoration.
• Experience managing projects with structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade repair or historic restoration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
• Experience with PROCORE or equivalent is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and review of contract documents; prepare contracts and revisions.
• Create and monitor schedule of values; manage retainage.
• Manage accounts receivable and drive timely collections.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and field staff; maintain strong customer relationships.
• Plan safety for every task with the team.
• Obtain permits required for projects.
• Assist in estimating and pricing change orders to maximize profitability.
• Assist in developing change orders and monitor work.
• Track cost to complete and provide monthly updates to the Branch Manager.
• Communicate timelines and coordinate with subs and project team.
• Oversee project deployment for quality and timely execution.
• Interact with Branch Superintendent and Project Foreman to meet production requirements.
• Documentation and communication of project change orders.
• Oversee procurement of project materials.
• Review shop drawings, schedules, catalog cuts, and related reports for accuracy.
• Establish work plan and master CPM schedule; assign personnel.
• Provide 2/3-week lookaheads for client.
• Provide technical advice and resolve problems.
• Review product design for compliance with specs.
• Ensure proper close-out of the project.
