Job summary

Schebler Company in Bettendorf, IA is seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer with Autodesk Inventor to join our Chimney Systems Division. You will design systems for industrial facilities and data centers, collaborating with engineering, production, and project teams.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–3 years CAD design experience preferred, Associate's degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. We are an ESOP company offering ownership benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in CAD, Drafting, or Engineering Technology is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years CAD design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and drawings from customer specs.
• Develop submittal drawings and coordination models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Produce manufacturing-ready drawings for fabrication and production teams.
• Review designs for accuracy, quality, and manufacturability.
• Work with engineers, project managers, and customers to refine designs.
• Support projects used in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, and data center infrastructure.
