Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Owned Brand Commercialization Manager in Deerfield, IL to drive category sales and profit across multiple Owned Brand lines. You will translate category trends into customer-led recommendations, collaborating with merchants, sourcing, regulatory, and product development teams to meet company targets.

You will lead a cross-functional team, forecast demand, and ensure product submissions align with consumer expectations while managing multiple categories with an innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in merchandising, product development, or marketing.
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis is required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and presenting to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set sales and gross profit targets for assigned categories with Category Managers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define opportunities and ensure product specs meet consumer expectations.
• Forecast demand and understand impact of logistics on fill rates, inventory and shelf life.
• Develop categories through new product development, reformulation and packaging ideas.
• Serve as Owned Brand expert within category strategy, lifecycle planning and cross-functional meetings.
• Own end-to-end Owned Brand commercialization with internal teams (merchant, sourcing, product development).
• Lead regular updates with regulatory/legal to ensure claims substantiation.
• Mentor direct/indirect reports and drive performance goals.
