Job summary

Bosun is seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager for Flowood/Jackson, MS area. You will own residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish, coordinating trades, managing budgets, schedules, and customer communications in a field-focused role.

Experience in insurance restoration is valuable, but strong construction leadership and client relations are equally important. A cradle-to-grave PM mindset drives project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong construction experience with project management responsibilities.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Established relationships with Jackson, MS market trades.
• Ability to manage both small and large construction projects.
• Understand construction methods, sequencing, and quality.
• Ability to read construction plans and blueprints.
• Strong scheduling, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer communication; comfortable in the field.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of reconstruction projects from scope through completion.
• Oversee a portfolio of about $1M annual reconstruction revenue.
• Manage projects from $5,000 to $200K+ in value.
• Visit job sites regularly to monitor progress and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trade partners.
• Review scope and identify field construction needs.
• Manage schedules, budgets, change orders, and closeout.
• Communicate with homeowners, business owners, insurers, and stakeholders.
• Address customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Ensure safety standards and proper documentation are followed.
• Learn and use restoration software such as Xactimate, DASH, Symbility, and Matterport.
