Job summary

Thundermist Health Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our primary care teams in Rhode Island. You’ll manage your own patient panel, provide continuity-focused care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes preventive, acute, and chronic disease management within an integrated care model. Rhode Island licensure is required, with credentialing in appropriate specialties and DEA

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP program or ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• Rhode Island APRN or PA licensure is required/licensure eligible.
• National certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health, or Pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care for an assigned patient panel, including preventive and chronic care.
• Perform histories, exams, orders and follow-up on labs/imaging.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice and ensure patient education.
