Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial or agricultural lending experience.
• Expertise in North Dakota agricultural markets.
• Proven success with large-scale crop and livestock producers, agribusiness operations, or complex farm financing structures.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to structure creative, tailored lending solutions.
• Relationship-focused, results-driven, autonomous, and ready to lead.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate, Manage, and Supervise Loans: Take ownership of North Star’s commercial loan portfolio, maintaining and improving asset quality while developing new and existing business relationships.
• Business Development: Grow your portfolio by cultivating high-value agricultural and commercial clients in the Minot area.
• Financial Analysis & Structuring: Review business financials, assess risk, and structure loans that maximize client success and portfolio performance.
• Portfolio Oversight & Compliance: Monitor assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation.
• Member & Community Engagement: Provide strategic guidance to members and represent North Star in industry and local events to strengthen relationships and lending opportunities.
