Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking an Owl Bar Server to join our team on late nights, weekends and holidays. The role features variable shifts, with on-call/part-time/full-time options, year round or seasonal, and a starting pay of $2.13 per hour plus tips.

Bar service requires knowledge of drinks, recipes, and Utah liquor laws, with regular training and advancement opportunities. Eligible candidates must be 21+, hold a food handler permit and an alcohol service permit within 30 days, and be

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent and/or related experience.
• Must obtain a current food handler permit within 30 days of employment.
• Must obtain a current alcohol service permit within 30 days of employment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain server stations, floor, and patio to Sundance standard.
• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Ensure neat appearance and compliance with health codes.
• Greet Owl Bar guests warmly and upsell daily specials and drinks.
• Enter orders in POS accurately and collect payment.
• Know Utah liquor laws and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
• Learn bar and drink/menu items and attend trainings.
• Prepare drinks and food for bar patrons and stock at shift start/end.
• Share the Owl Bar history with guests and maintain bar and area cleanliness.
