OpenNebula Systems seeks a Cloud Networking & Virtualization Engineer (OVS/DPDK) to join our Europe-based Engineering team. You will strengthen networking for cloud and telco deployments, focusing on Open vSwitch, DPDK, and KVM on Red Hat. Expect hands-on work, tooling maintenance, and customer collaboration.

The role requires independent ownership, with occasional travel to project meetings and events. English fluency and Spanish proficiency are preferred. Remote work supported.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with virtual networking and Linux-based virtualization environments.
• Experience in telecom, NFV/NFVI or large private-cloud environments is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Integrating, deploying and maintaining Open vSwitch with DPDK and KVM-based virtual networking in Red Hat environments.
• Configuring SR-IOV, hugepages and NUMA pinning for demanding workloads.
• Maintaining and extending one-deploy and Ansible automation for repeatable deployments.
• Testing OVS/DPDK configurations and documenting results and improvements.
• Troubleshooting Linux, virtual networking and KVM issues and preventing recurrence.
• Working with Red Hat infrastructure configuration and Satellite management.
• Collaborating with customers and teams on deployment and support of cloud/telco environments.
• Writing deployment procedures, troubleshooting runbooks and project reports.
