Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a forklift operator to support our shipping and receiving operations at our Denver-area location. You will safely operate a forklift and wrapping equipment, load and unload materials, and keep inventory organized in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires 6+ months of forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months forklift operating experience.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
• Ability to obtain PCA certified forklift license.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and organize warehouses.
• Report any missing, broken, bent, or worn forklift parts to supervisor or maintenance.
• Follow safety rules and company policies and procedures.
