Job summary

Vistar is seeking a warehouse order picker in Kentucky to select cases from multi-level racks and prepare orders for shipment. You will operate a motorized pallet jack/forklift, ensure safety, and maintain efficient flow through the warehouse.

The role requires lifting up to 80 pounds, standing for long periods, and overtime during busy seasons. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, with performance incentives based on productivity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse/distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours including overtime.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 80 lbs occasionally; stand/walk long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and report hazards immediately.
• Review schedule, obtain supplies, and inspect pallet jack/forklift safety devices.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and locate products per order sheets.
• Move stock from pick slots/racks to pallets as required.
• Transport palletized orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if needed.
• Replace batteries and complete vehicle inspection; finish end-of-shift paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
