Job summary

Tuvli, an Akima company, is seeking a Security Specialist to support the DOS Office of Security Management. The incumbent oversees security aspects of the development and/or design of limited access areas, building access barriers, secure rooms, and other features affecting site integrity.

The role requires reviewing construction projects for security needs, developing CSPs, SSPs and TSPs, and coordinating deployment of on-site security personnel to ensure mission-critical protections across

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Mastery of construction, physical, and procedural security methods and processes.

Responsibilities

• Reviews assigned diplomatic construction projects to identify construction security needs.
• Develops a CSP, SSP, and TSP for security of classified and sensitive equipment and areas.
• Plans and oversees deployment of Site Security Managers, CAGs, CSTs at sites.
• Coordinate’s deployment dates with project proponents and affected posts.
• Reviews architectural drawings to ensure security classifications are applied correctly.
• Prepares budget estimates for travel, equipment, guards, and other security expenses.
