Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Company in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is inviting an Overseas Packaging Plant Intern for Operations, Quality, Packaging & Process Engineering for Spring 2027. The role focuses on hands-on development of packaging solutions that protect product quality while meeting design standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement preventative quality measures, manage project timelines, and gain exposure to packaging materials, processes, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• GPA of at least 3.0 (overall).
• Must be enrolled as a US undergraduate student.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Available for 40 hours/week on-site.
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• Must attach unofficial transcript.
• Must pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• Work term dates: January 11, 2027 – May 14, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Understand quality control processes and packaging designs/standards.
• Support quality and packaging objectives to ensure product integrity.
• Focus on preventative measures and adherence to quality standards at each stage.
• Evaluate packaging materials and designs to meet performance.
• Identify and implement more effective processes.
• Manage timelines and deliverables for team projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
