Job summary

UOB is seeking a TAP Tech Lead to drive technical architecture across the Wealth domain. The role requires coordinating with architects and stakeholders, ensuring design alignment with enterprise principles, and guiding cross-functional teams through build, test and deployment cycles.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Temenos Wealthsuite and Java-based microservices, along with strong API design, DevOps practices, and enterprise integration knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with Temenos Wealthsuite products such as EdgeConnect, TCIB, Triple A GUI/WUI, OData, WTX.

Responsibilities

• Support solution review and validate high-level design with Architects and stakeholders.
• Standardise and maintain application architecture across bank applications.
• Resolve technical issues across project delivery phases (connectivity, testing, code scanning).
• Engage with vendors to clarify technical requirements for FSD and end-to-end delivery.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams during build, test and deployment.

ROLE TAP TECH LEAD UOB

Key Responsibilities

Support the project solution process review and validate the initial highlevel solution design together with the

respective stakeholders Enterprise Architect Security Architect Infra Architect other Application Domain Architects for

Technology Architecture Governance reviews and approvals

Partner with System Analyst to ensure technical design complies with enterprise design principles security and

control standards

Responsible for standardising and maintaining the application architecture across various bank applications within

the domain as well as to recommend and facilitate the use of new technology for application improvement opportunities

Address and resolve technical issues eg technical connectivity Penetration Test Performance Test code scanning

or queries relating to the project activities arising from all phases of project delivery

Support both functional and nonfunctional testing phase of delivery to ensure all aspects of the system

requirement is delivered as per FSD

Ensure proper knowledge is propagated to the project team to enable quality testing is conducted

Engage with system vendors to ensure the technical requirements are clear for delivery of FSD throughout the endtoend project implementation phases

Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to clarify functional specification and technical design during

build test and deployment phase

Key Requirements

Experience in Temenos Wealthsuite product such as EdgeConnect TCIB Triple A GUIWUI OData WTX

Experience in UnixLinux shell scripting Sybase or Oracle DB

Experience in delivery of Private Banking solution and handson experience on at least 1 endtoend application

delivery

Extensive and significant working experience as an technical lead in large crossfunctional teams or enterprise

projects

Excellent application analysis design system integration and code review skills in the Private BankingWealth

Management Space

Able to work independently good interpersonal influencing and communications skills with a resilient mindset

Strong technical background in integration with a good understanding of API Microservices concepts software

design patterns eventbased processing and OCP based application

Experience in Java OCP or Microservices based application development knowledge webbasedmobile

development and Temenos Wealthsuite product such as EdgeConnect TCIB WUI OData TAP Core is a plus

Experience in working with DevOps and Continuous integration with good understanding of nTier application

architecture concept

Experience with process methodology frameworks development methodologies Agile Waterfall SDLC preferred
