Abraxas Youth & Family Services in Marienville, PA seeks an Overnight Youth Care Worker to supervise sleeping-hour clients and ensure safety. This full-time position offers $18.73 per hour with daily pay options and weekend shifts.

The role involves assisting with morning wake-up routines, documenting checks, and upholding the Seven Key Principles of care while working with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Criminal clearances (Act 33/34, state & child clearances, FBI if required).
• Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Valid registered vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients during sleeping hours to ensure safety and security.

• Maintain regular communication with coworkers.
• Supervise morning routine; observe and intervene as needed.
• Conduct head counts/bed checks and use the Guard I system.

Overnight Youth Care Worker

Location: Abraxas I, 165 Abraxas Rd., Marienville, PA 16239

Full-Time

Pay: $18.73 per hour

Daily Pay Available

Schedule: 11:00pm – 7:00am | Overnight Shift (Weekends Required)

What You’ll Do

The primary function of the Overnight Youth Care Worker is to supervise clients during the sleeping hours in a manner that ensures their safety and security. In addition, Life Skill Workers assist in the management of the morning wake-up routine by educating, guiding and directing clients in a manner that promotes their growth and development.

• Interact meaningfully with clients.
• Complete security calls tonight supervisor.
• Maintain regular communication with co-worker(s).
• Supervise morning routine; observes client behavior and intervenes appropriately.
• Ensure client location.
• Conducts and documents random/unpredictable head counts/bed checks (minimum of once every twelve minutes) and utilizes the Guard I system.
• Conducts outside building security checks.
• Supports the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.
• Demonstrates appropriate use of Safe C1isis Management techniques and skills.
