Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations across stores, overseeing specialists, order pickers and forklift operators. You will manage daily freight schedules to align with customer and inventory needs.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, teamwork and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons. Excellent knowledge of warehouse processes and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs; ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Enforce warehouse safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations.
• Prepare management activity reports and ensure timely data entry.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and receiver reports.
• Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP and ensure accurate staging and counting of products.
• Oversee inventory rotation and space-efficient storage.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
