Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations, supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and to manage the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

This role requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain relationships with other departments.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills in Windows-based systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and implement preventive maintenance plans; report repairs.
• Oversee warehouse safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Prepare activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist for timely data entry.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping documents and receiver reports.
• Supervise Storage Buy Audit COP execution and product staging and storage.
