Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations at the store level, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

The role emphasizes scheduling, safety, training, and coordination with other departments to maintain efficient, cost‑effective receiving and shipping performance across stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse/distribution.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with other departments and maintain relationships.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills; Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping/receiving.
• Direct the day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control).
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintenance of warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment for distribution functions.
• Oversee warehouse safety programs per OSHA/local regulations.
• Ensure associates are trained and follow SOPs.
• Manage progressive discipline (counseling, warnings) to maintain productivity.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Prepare activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, receiver reports.
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Store products properly to conserve space and meet safety procedures.
• Oversee inventory rotation in the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
