Job summary

Wegmans is seeking a warehouse selector to join our distribution team. You will accurately select products for Wegmans stores, contributing to exceptional service through attention to detail and teamwork in an overnight schedule of four 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include building safe pallets, operating equipment, conducting order audits, and ensuring cold chain integrity for temperature-sensitive items.

Qualifications

• Familiar with pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect systems.
• Ability to lift 20-25 pounds on average; occasional up to 50+ pounds.
• Overnight schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pallets are built safely and efficiently to minimize damage during transport and maximize trailer space.
• Safely operate equipment such as pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect.
• Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality.
• Maintain knowledge of product quality standards and specifications.
• Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports and other communication channels.
• Maintain cold chain integrity for temperature‑controlled loads.
• May work in cold temperatures; lifting 20–25 lbs on average, up to 50+ lbs occasionally.
