Wegmans is hiring a warehouse selector in Ashland, VA to accurately pick products for Wegmans stores, ensuring quality and efficiency. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a strong sense of attention to detail.

Shifts are four 10-hour periods overnight. Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and Vocollect is preferred. A bonus up to $500 is available, with additional pay for cold storage roles. PPE is provided and safety training is ongoing.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect is preferred.
• Overnight shifts consist of four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Ability to lift 20-25 pounds on average with heavier items up to 50+ pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pallets are built safely and efficiently to minimize damage and maximize trailer space.
• Safely operate equipment such as pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect.
• Perform order audits to verify accuracy and quality.
