Job summary

Abacus Staffing in Chambersburg, PA seeks a Warehouse Packer/Stacker/Sorter for a night shift, Mon-Fri 10:50 PM–finish (roughly 7:00 AM). You will package finished product, prepare corrugate, and stack/shrink-wrap boxes on pallets per customer specs while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting products for defects, delivering raw materials to lines, and monitoring packaging quality and process timing.

Qualifications

• GMPs and food safety requirements must be followed.
• Visually inspect product for defects and foreign material.
• Support packing machines and deliver raw materials to lines.
• Hand stack cases and verify packaging quality and labels.
• Monitor seasoning levels and ensure correct application.
• Follow production schedule and set up packing equipment accordingly.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMPs, food safety rules and company policies.
• Visually inspect product for defects or foreign material.
• Deliver raw materials to production line for packing.
• Hand stack finished cases, verify labels and pallet info.
• Check metal detectors and pack bags/boxes under time pressure.
• Assemble boxes, apply stickers and ensure packaging quality.
• Monitor seasoner levels to maintain seasoning as specified.
• Understand production schedule and set up packing machines.
• Oversee quality and food safety before shipping.
• Document information accurately and communicate issues.
