Job summary

UNFI in Ridgefield, WA is hiring an Order Selector Associate to pull wholesale grocery orders in our warehouse. You will palletize, shrink wrap, and place pallets, with shifts assigned by business needs. Full availability and overtime are required as schedules vary.

Orientation starts soon, with training sessions in the mornings. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and speed in a fast-paced environment. Experience in large warehouse settings and operation of electric pallet jacks is preferred;

Qualifications

• Experience in a large warehouse or grocery distribution in the last 3 years.
• Experience with an Electric Pallet Jack.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds continuously and work in temperature range.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Selects various grocery, perishable, frozen or repack products from warehouse stock using electric pallet jacket.
• Reports adjustments to inventory counts, spoilage or damage to stock, location changes, and out of stocks.
• Transports product throughout warehouse via electric pallet jack.
• Maintain order selection performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage and maximum safety.
• Assist other department personnel during peak workloads or absences.
