Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking an Overnight Technical Support Engineer to join the Support Operations team in Managed Services.

The role requires handling overnight incident response, monitoring, patch management, and scheduled maintenance across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT, 2+ years with Windows/Linux, VMware vSphere/vCenter, and experience with patch tools such as WSUS/SCCM.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Information Technology.
2+ years experience with Windows and/or Linux platforms; troubleshooting network issues at OS level.
2+ years of working knowledge of VMware vSphere and vCenter Administration.
Hands-on experience with patch management tools such as WSUS or SCCM; good patch scheduling and rollback knowledge.
Experience executing scheduled maintenance and working with change management in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Overnight Monitoring & Incident Response: be the primary point of contact for overnight incidents; monitor alarms and production systems; troubleshoot VMware and network issues; handle account creations for overnight tasks.
