Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a competency-based progression as you advance.

You will triage and obtain patient histories, place IV catheters, monitor ventilated cases, and work with skilled technicians to deliver advanced medicine. We value mentoring others and reuniting ill pets with their families.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.
