Job summary
CyFair Animal Hospital in Houston is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our fast-paced team. The role includes animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, lab work, imaging, nursing care, medication administration and surgical/anesthesia support.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year veterinary experience; CVT/RVT/LVT a bonus.
- Open availability, including weekends and overnight shifts.
- Excellent customer service and precise record-keeping.
- Ability to restrain pets safely in a low-stress environment.
- Knowledge of preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow.
Responsibilities
- Restrain animals and triage incoming patients.
- Collect and analyze lab samples and perform diagnostic imaging.
- Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases.
- Administer medications and assist with surgeries and anesthesia.
- Communicate treatment plans clearly to clients.
