BluePearl Pet Hospital in Christiana, DE is now hiring a Treatment Technician!

As a Treatment Veterinary Technician, you will:

• Monitor stable patients overnight, assess behavioral changes and pain scores.

• Obtain and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs; alert Veterinarian to changes and issues.

• Understand normal ranges of patient vital signs, including heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.

• Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters in peripheral vessels proficiently.

• Perform digital radiography with proper technique and patient positioning.

• Calculate medical dosages, including constant rate infusions, and administer medications via appropriate routes and durations.

• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.

• Mentor and train colleagues with patience and empathy.
