Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota (AERC) is seeking a Veterinary Intake Coordinator for the Overnight shift in Oakdale, MN. You will be the first medically trained team member to evaluate emergencies, obtain vital signs, coordinate patient flow, and help ensure timely care for pets.

The role collaborates with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and front desk staff to maintain patient throughput and exceptional client communication in a 24/7 emergency hospital.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Assistant or LVT with hands-on experience
• Ability to accurately obtain patient vital signs
• Excellent client service and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Obtain presenting and recheck vital signs on emergency patients
• Identify abnormal findings and alert the medical team
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record
• Prioritize incoming patients and support triage
• Coordinate patient movement throughout the hospital
• Provide timely updates to clients and the medical team
