Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking an Overnight Valet Attendant to be the first contact for guests, parking and retrieving vehicles, and delivering outstanding service.

The role requires flexible scheduling, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle stressful situations while assisting guests with luggage and directions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License and be 21 years of age.
• Park and retrieve vehicles while providing great customer service.
• Open and close car doors while assisting with luggage or other belongings.
• Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot.
• Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return.
• Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions.

Responsibilities

Job Qualifications:

• Knowledge of local roads and routes to area attractions and points of interest
• Having a proper, valid Driver's License and a clean driving record Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
• Ability to work well in stressful situations
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
