Job summary

Gateway Rehab is hiring a Treatment Support Technician at our Halfway House in Youngwood, PA. This full-time role supports residents during overnight programming, monitors safety and daily living needs, and acts as a liaison with clinical staff. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

You will assist with intakes, documentation, and crisis support under supervision, with training provided. This position values empathy, professionalism, and a recovery-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to stay awake, alert, and engaged overnight.
• Valid driver’s license plus a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete required PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances, drug screen, 2-Step TB test, and CPR/First Aid.
• If you’re in recovery yourself, we welcome your lived experience (18+ months in recovery required).

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients through overnight programming and activities.
• Monitoring safety, behavior, and daily living needs.
• Acting as a go-between for clients and clinical staff.
• Helping with intakes, paperwork, assessments, and documentation.
• Assisting during crises (with training and supervision).
• Transporting clients to meetings or appointments when needed.
• Supporting recovery-focused routines with empathy and professionalism.
